Dad's lines: (All British) Eardley, Pixton, Holding, Silcock (Silcox), Heath, Grocott, Middleton, Hankinson, Alcock, Hulme, Bennett, Tinsley, Hatton, Renshaw, Bedson

Mom's lines: (German, Swedish and British) Kloepfer, Johnson, Partington, Anderson (Swedish), Taylor, Hammond, Budd, Collings, Seed, Makepeace, Pehrsson (Swedish), Nilsson (Swedish), Holm

My Husband's lines: (All early American, All from Delmarva peninsula) Slaughter, Onley, Phillips, Spry, Reed, Selby, Bunting, Carey, Bundick, Ingram, Campbell, Richardson, Hughes, Young, Hobbs

Keep it Simple

Rules of research:

1. Start with what you know

2. Type a pedigree into a good genealogy computer program. Start with yourself.

3. Enter Family Group Records using same program.

4. Look for blanks spots and decide what you want to learn.

5. Chose the records you'll need to search.

6. Send for certificates if necessary or go to archive/library which has the records. Make copies of records you need.

7. Keep a research log.

8. Add new data to pedigree and FGR.

9. Use universal date format: 3 Jan 1891

10. Use this place format: City/Town/Parish, County, State, Country

11. Always list females on pedigree & FGR by maiden name

12. Cite your sources.
